Susan is doing a tremendous job of helping women deal with the trauma of transition. Her material can help anyone who wants to move ahead in a healthy way after they have experienced a move or major adjustment. I highly recommend her work shops and materials.

Susan Miller's After the Boxes Are Unpacked, is a handbook of suggestions and encouragement, not just to those who are moving, but to all of us. This book will enrich lots of folks who have felt pangs of grief over our losses because it teaches us how to survive our losses. I LOVED IT!

Thank you for your ministry. I have personally met some of the ladies from our community who have come here to attend the Newcomer's study and I want you to know that it is working, and working well.  I was so impressed when I saw the number of ladies who attended, all who were brand new visitors to our church. This is very exciting to watch. Who knows what God may do through all whose lives are being touched.

I deal with many organizations in my ministry here and Just Moved reflects excellence and encouragement. Your staff reflects Christ’s character and my dealings with them have been affirming that this ministry direction is of the Lord’s leading. Thank you!

Thank you for all you do for "movers."  This course does make a difference in the lives of women on the go!

Each woman had much to share and much to gain through Susan's experiences and their own. It was a holy time of watching expression-less faces the first week become faces that revealed hope and purpose in their eyes by last week.  To God be the glory!

We have thoroughly enjoyed and benefited from the teaching DVD’s and of course the relationships are developing too! On the whole, the numbers are small but it’s benefiting the women that are coming and that’s the most important thing!

I have found that the Moving On class deals with a lot of issues apart from moving.  The trauma of moving often brings “buried” hurts to the surface which have to be dealt with before one can even start with the moving issues, and that might be just God’s plan for many people.  Every lesson is still a surprise to me, because no matter how meticulously (to the minute!!) we plan, God more often than not changes our “well-laid plans”, and we are humbled to be a part of it all. In order for this ministry to remain real, God is keeping us close to His heart, making sure we are relying on Him and Him alone, no matter what… so, here we are, preparing for our 6th [Moving On] year in Abu Dhabi!

This study has certainly had a huge impact on my life, as it has on the lives of so many others. Vicki, Marlene, and I are so excited to be once again teaching this class.

Thank you so much for your ministry. You have surely touched so many lives, but I know you have changed the lives of the six women in my group. These women, new to Pittsburgh, had in our group a place to feel loved, welcomed, connected, and encouraged. Graduation was not the end of our group, but just the beginning. We’re continuing as a small Bible study group. For me, I’m looking forward to a move with my military husband and young daughters in 2008. I feel more equipped and pray there will be a Moving On group on the other side. If there isn’t a group in my new home area, I’ll be in touch.

I have three ladies in my Moving On group this semester. We just finished our last session today. It has been a sweet time together and has been neat to see the hearts knitting together and healing together.

We love this precious ministry and know God will provide. We have seen such great things over these last 9 ½ years! Thank you all for your vision and obedience to God for setting this ministry in place.

What could be more fun and more rewarding than working with Just Moved? I love it and thank the Lord for this blessing of helping. I really get to see some hearts become knitted together. I so appreciate all you do for us, and look forward to new experiences and new ways for the Lord to use us all. This is one of the highest privileges in life, to be a part of this ministry. I just love it.

I truly believe this class helps women find a "softer landing." It is a "safe place" where people understand the combination of joy and frustration with a move. The class gives them hope and the reminder that they will have friends again. Yeah God for using Susan , and all of you who help her to bless women (and of course their families) all across the world! Our church has been blessed by these women who find their feet a lot faster because they don’t feel alone in their move, but may be a little more aware of how God is at work in their lives even when it isn’t necessarily comfortable.

The books, After the Boxes Are Unpacked and But Mom, I Don’t Want to Move! were a balm to my lonely and hurting soul. The messages in these books was God’s way of getting me through some pretty rough days. I have recommended or purchased After the Boxes for several women, including the one who bought our house in Louisville , KY. And after my two moves and reading those books, I also have felt that God was calling me to make an effort to reach out to women in my path who have just moved.

During the past three years, more than 100 women from the greater Richmond region have been involved in this program. Several have enjoyed it so much they decided to attend again the following year. One participant stated, “It gave me purpose when I first came here and helped me feel normal and supported in my feelings.” Another said, “Getting to come to these meetings has helped me get to know people and that has helped Richmond feel more like home!”

The passion that I feel for this program has NOT diminished... it has only grown in an area where so many are so confused about this retirement thing. I love God for planting the seed in my life. The blessings just continue to pour in.

I believe that this class is truly instrumental in helping women get connected when they arrive in a new city. By setting a tone for open discussion, confidentiality, care and love, the women are quick to begin sharing their hearts and thus, new friendships are born! It’s exciting to watch as the group moves from our class to starting up a new Bible study once our class ends. There is a sense of commitment to one another and the women genuinely enjoy being together and encourage each other. It’s a blessing to be a part of this study.

Just wanted to share the good news that one of our Newcomers asked Jesus into her heart at our last meeting on Friday.  We know you would want to rejoice in that good news with us!

Our graduation was wonderful. I wish I could tell you all the stories of growth in each lady. It was a great celebration. Many of our original movers will now be mentors to the ministry.

Another wonderful result of the study was that one of the women planted the seed for a “Moving On” group at our local high school. It will be geared more towards teens, obviously, and how to find God’s peace and one’s own way in that environment.

We sure do feel and appreciate your support of our new class. We are loving the material and the video. Pass on to Susan how we all feel so blessed by her heart and her wisdom.

We have gotten together for dinner, playgroups, even a pampered chef party! They told me last week that it's been an easy transition into the church because they feel like they already have a "group" they are not the new person trying to fit into everyone else's busy lives. I have also learned lots about my own "moving baggage" even though I've been here for 2 years.

It was just more than we could have imagined. God brought together five precious women who started bonding before they left class that first night! Two of the girls couldn't attend regularly, but they connected and became best buddies and read the book.

These women have become ambassadors for Just Moved! and are serving others in the strength that they have received from learning and having fellowship together.
