12 ways to say "I love you"...
- Leave a love note or a card in his sock drawer, inside a book he is reading, or in his lunch bag. (Be creative—think of other places too!)
- Pack a picnic lunch and take it to his office on a sunny day. Find a place nearby to eat outside.
- Have his favorite music playing when he comes home from work.
- Occasionally, watch a TV sports program with him that you do not particularly enjoy. Fix his favorite snacks.
- Try to use the word “ours” instead of “mine” whenever you can.
- Turn the TV off during meals to encourage conversation. Start by telling him why you appreciate him.
- Have a photo taken of yourself or of your family. Frame it for his desk. (Men aren’t likely to buy a frame and then frame a picture for their office.)
- Call him at work and tell him you are thinking about him.
- Kiss him goodbye in the morning. Kiss him hello in the afternoon. Kiss him when he least expects it.
- Find the right moment to whisper in his ear, “Have I told you lately that I love you?”
- Live every day with him as if it were the last.
- Pray for him. Pray for his relationship with you, the children, his health, and inner peace despite circumstances. Pray these scripture verses for him: Philippians 1:9-11.
